Function & Working

A Y strainer works by directing fluid through a perforated or mesh screen element that traps debris while allowing clean media to pass. The contaminants collect at the bottom of the “Y”-shaped body and can be easily removed through the blow-off port without disassembling the unit. The compact configuration allows flexible horizontal or vertical installation while maintaining low pressure drop and easy cleaning access.
