About Non Lubricated Plug Valve:

Working Mechanism:
A non lubricated plug valve is simple and effective to operate. The plug inside the valve body spins when the actuator is engaged, which also rotates the stem. By rotating the plug, the valve is opened or closed depending on how the internal passage and flow path are aligned or not.
1.Opening the Valve: The valve is open and permits fluid to pass through with little resistance when the plug is turned so that its internal route matches the flow path. The plug turns smoothly without the need for lubrication thanks to the low-friction sleeve.
2.Closing the Valve: To effectively stop the flow, rotate the plug 90 degrees from its open position, misaligning the internal passage with the flow direction. The precise fit of the plug within the sleeve provides a tight seal, preventing leaks.
